PIONEER Consortium to spotlight neuro advances April 30

Join neurosurgery and neuro-oncology experts from across the country for the inaugural PIONEER Consortium Meeting, hosted by UTHealth Houston Neurosciences, April 30 at Hotel ZaZa Museum District.

Explore the latest innovations in diagnosis, treatment, and research, with a focus on improving outcomes and quality of life for patients facing complex neurologic conditions. Through expert-led discussions and interactive sessions, learn how collaboration enhances precise care plans and more effective therapies.

The meeting offers a forum for clinicians, researchers, and health care professionals to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and accelerate progress in the field of neuro-oncology. By bringing together various perspectives, ongoing efforts to transform how brain tumors are treated will be supported.

Beginning at 8 a.m., the program features two morning sessions, each with three speakers, separated by a lightning talk session. After lunch, the afternoon consists of two additional sessions, again with three speakers each, followed by closing remarks at 4 p.m.

The PIONEER Consortium is a global, collaborative research platform established in 2019 to address the critical lack of prospective, multicenter evidence in surgical neuro-oncology.
