How to Apply
Thank you for your interest in the Sleep Medicine fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, Texas. We offer a one-year training program that prepares our graduates for the challenges and rigor of this exciting and evolving field of medicine. Our fellows receive in depth didactic and bedside education that prepares them for sleep certification.
We currently offer 2 positions to candidates of all eligible backgrounds: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Practice, Pulmonary & Critical Care, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Psychiatry and Otorhinolaryngology.
Our Program only accepts applications via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) https://students-residents.aamc.org/training-residency-fellowship/applying-fellowships-eras/
Deadline for applications is August 31 of each year. A complete application includes:
- Medical (allopathic/osteopathic) school transcript
- Valid ECFMG Certificate, if applicable
- Dean’s Letter from medical (allopathic/osteopathic) school
- Photo Identification
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- USMLE Transcript
- Personal Statement
- Curriculum Vitae
- Visa Status (only J1 Visas are supported by our fellowship program)
