Associate faculty member, Francine K. Snow, DrPH, MSN, RN-BC, and senior program coordinator, Angela P. Gomez, EdD, MBA, MS, collaborated to share findings from the first year of Healthcare Policy for Health Professionals (HP2), UTHealth Houston’s Quality Enhancement Plan. The results showed that nursing students gained knowledge about health policy related to various educational interventions and enhancements developed through HP2.
Dr. Snow presented the poster at the 2022 Health Policy Conference of the American Academy of Nursing in Washington, DC. Dr. Snow serves as the representative from Cizik School of Nursing and Dr. Gomez as the assessment director for the QEP.
