McGovern Center postdoctoral fellow Marianne Florian, PhD, recently co-authored a paper with fellow McGovern Medical School members, Asia Bright, PhD, and Samuel Neher, EdD, MS. Their paper, “Design, Implementation, and Evaluation of City as TextTM as a Place-Based Framework for Service-Learning in Pre-clinical Medical Education (external link),” appears online in the Journal of Medical Education and Curricular Development. The research presented stems from Professionalism and Learning Under Service (PLUS), an innovative service-learning initiative at McGovern Medical School.
