The McGovern Center extends its congratulations to Angela P. Gomez, EdD, MBA, MS, for her recent promotion to Assistant Professor. Dr. Gomez has been a member of the McGovern Center since 2009, first as staff and, since 2023, as faculty. Her roles have included managing and directing various educational programs, including UTHealth Houston’s Quality Enhancement Plan, Healthcare Policy for Health Professionals. She is an active educational researcher, contributes to program development by meaningfully integrating theory and practice, and engages with the scholarship of teaching and learning.
