Narrative Medicine Mondays returns

September 3, 2026

The McGovern Center for Humanities & Ethics is excited to relaunch Narrative Medicine Mondays, a monthly event series open to all McGovern students, faculty, and staff. Through guided discussions of short works of literature, art, film, and media, participants will explore the role of storytelling and narrative in health care and everyday life. No prior experience or preparation is required, and all are welcome to attend.

Our first session, a Reflective Writing Workshop, will be held on Monday, September 21, from 5-6 pm in Teams and will be facilitated by Allison Gentry, a fourth-year medical student and this year’s series host. To receive updates and event announcements throughout the academic year, please join the Narrative Medicine Mondays listserv by completing this Google Form (external link).
