Dr. Sancak Yuksel Named Among Super Doctors in Texas

Sancak Yuksel, MD, an associate professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, was named by his peers among Super Doctors® in Texas for 2020. Super doctors are selected through a rigorous process that identifies physicians with high peer recognition and outstanding professional achievement.

Dr. Yuksel is a dual fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist and adult otologist-neurotologist and lateral skull base surgeon who treats very complex medical and surgical cases in these subspecialties. He is also subspecialized in sialendoscopy for salivary gland stones and strictures, and is one of a handful of surgeons who perform these procedures in the United States.

Dr. Yuksel was named among Super Doctors in Texas for the second consecutive year. He has also been named to the Houstonia magazine Top Doctors list for six consecutive years and is a five-time recipient of the UTHealth Dean’s teaching Excellence Award.
