I earned a bachelor’s in nursing from the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. I relocated to Houston, Texas in 2009 and earned a master’s in nursing in the family nurse practitioner program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. I am certified as a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical examiner. I am a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Houston Area Nurse Practitioners (HANP). Besides English, I am fluent in Korean.
I have been caring for the health and wellbeing of infants, children, teens, and adults including seeing Medicare and Medicaid patients since 2019 in family medicine, primary care, urgent care, and internal medicine. I have clinical interest in health education, health promotion, health maintenance and prevention.
I have three children and two dogs (3-year-old boys). On my days off work, I spend time playing with the puppies. I also enjoy watching movies and learning violin.
