EM Professor and Director of Population Health, Mandy Hill, DrPH, MPH has recently published significant research in the Journal of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities! Among the key findings, Black participants reported better cognitive function but more fatigue than White participants, while females and gender minorities experienced lower well-being than males.

Dr. Hill’s work sheds light on the health inequities exacerbated by the pandemic and their impact on COVID-19 outcomes. This accomplishment is currently featured on the front page of UTHealth Houston – McGovern Medical School’s News & Events page. For the full story, please click on its’ image or visit the link here.
