EM Stands Ready at the 2025 Chevron Houston Marathon!

The Department of Emergency Medicine proudly provided medical coverage for the 2025 Chevron Houston Marathon. Our dedicated EM team was on-site, ready to respond quickly to any medical emergencies that might arise during the race.

While this year’s event was smooth with no major incidents, our presence remains critical. It’s a reminder of the importance of having trained emergency professionals ready to act when seconds count.

Just last year, our team played a pivotal role in saving a runner’s life during the very same event—a powerful testament to the lifesaving impact of having emergency medical coverage at large-scale gatherings.
