Dr. Eric Power grew up in the Chicago area before completing his undergraduate education in Indiana and medical school in Houston. After graduating, he returned to Chicago to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine at Northwestern University.
During his training, Dr. Power honed his skills by caring for a diverse patient population and educating learners both inside and outside the Emergency Department.
In addition to his core specialty of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Power has clinical interests in Sports, Event, and Space Medicine, as well as optimizing efficiency in medical processes. He is excited to be back in Houston, contributing to a great institution. Outside of the department, his interests are ever-evolving, currently including running, pickleball, and spending time with his family, friends, and dog.
