EM’s Space Medicine Program at French-American Innovation Days

Showcasing Excellence in Space Medicine, Research, and International Partnerships

UTHealth Houston’s Space Medicine program was proudly represented at the French-American Innovation Days (FAID).

Nicolas Heft, MD, Fellowship Director, shared our department’s research alongside Texas A&M, Rice University, the French Consul General, and Arts Et Métiers.

FAID brings together leading French and American experts to advance scientific, technological, and industrial collaboration while highlighting the excellence of research institutions in both countries. This event provided a platform to showcase UTHealth Houston’s work in space medicine and strengthen international partnerships.

We are proud of Dr. Heft and the Space Medicine team for representing UTHealth Houston and The Department of Emergency Medicine on the international stage and advancing the field through meaningful engagement and research dissemination.
