Biography

Lejin is a highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in critical care and cardiovascular medicine. With a strong foundation in patient-centered care, she specializes in managing acute and complex conditions in adult and geriatric populations.

Her nursing career began with the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2008, followed by over a decade of experience as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse. Driven by a passion for advanced practice, she pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP), completed in 2018. From 2019 to 2022, she worked in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery, focusing on perioperative and postoperative care.

As an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with the Hospitalist team at UT Health, she continues to provide high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic conditions, emphasizing evidence-based practice and improved patient outcomes. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and professional growth, remaining engaged in continuing education and advancements in acute and critical care medicine.
