Irma Alza, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC

Biography

Irma Alza is a board certified adult/gerontology acute care nurse practitioner who practices at Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC, TIRR Memorial Hermann, and Memorial Hermann Orthopedic and Spine Hospital.

She graduated with honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch with a Master of Science in Nursing specializing as an acute care nurse practitioner and shortly after joined the UT Health Hospitalist division. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Irma specialized in hospital internal medicine as a Registered Nurse with over 8 years of experience in the Medicine and Surgical/Trauma units at Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC where she encountered a variety of complex medical conditions.

She is passionate about providing patient-centered care, improving health literacy, and promoting patient education.
