Neelam Badruddin, MD

Biography

Dr. Neelam Badruddin is a board-certified Family Medicine physician joining the Department of Emergency Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She brings a diverse international background and a broad clinical perspective to her practice.

Dr. Badruddin earned her medical degree from Gulf Medical University and practiced emergency medicine in the United Arab Emirates for seven years prior to completing her Family Medicine residency at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. She also holds a diploma in Healthcare Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in Dubai.

Her clinical interests include rapid response management and the care of complex inpatient conditions, with a focus on evidence-based medicine. Dr. Badruddin is dedicated to medical education and values strong interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality patient care. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, as well as singing, baking, and hosting gatherings.
