Biography
Dr. Koerner serves as the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Koerner’s clinical and research areas of interest include medical education, injury prevention, and ethics. She has lectured extensively on these and other topics at the local, national and international level. She is an active member of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and is a Harris County Medical Society delegate to the TMA. She has served on the TMA reference committee for Medical Education, and is past Chair of the TMA Continuing Medical Education (CME) Committee. She currently serves on the TMA Sub-committee for CME
