Biography
Dr. Van Meter was appointed as the Residency Program Director in 2017.
Previously, Dr. Van Meter was the clerkship director for the UT EM medical student rotation where he administered two 4th-year electives and a 3rd-year elective. His interests lie in medical student and resident education. He is also a preceptor for the 2nd-year medical student Physical Diagnosis course. He has completed the ACEP Teaching Fellowship, and continues to work on curriculum development, bedside teaching, and evaluation.
