After completing his fellowship in June 2012, Dr. Gordon was retained as academic faculty with the Medical College of Georgia, Department of Emergency Medicine. He served in various roles including Associate Residency Director, Assistant Ultrasound Fellowship Director and Emergency Ultrasound Director.
Dr. Gordon completed the ACEP Teaching Fellowship and served as academic chair for the Georgia College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Gordon joined the faculty with McGovern Medical School in August 2017 as Director of Emergency Ultrasound Education. He looks forward to working with the esteemed faculty to continue to build on the already outstanding ultrasound educational experience for students, residents, fellows and faculty.
Dr. Gordon has various research interests and continues to serve on the ACEP research committee. He hopes to continue to explore ultrasound applications that improve patient care and medical education.
