John Beauchamp, MD

Favorite Food: Tie between fried gulf shrimp and real deep south pork BBQ with sweet sauce (none of this beef brisket nonsense).
Hobbies: College football, road trips (preferably to a location with mountains, beaches, or national parks), reading, history, architecture (I used to design/build houses for a living), and outdoor activities including biking, hiking, camping, and fishing.
Favorite Movie: Tie between The Outlaw Josie Wales, Star Wars, Shawshank Redemption and Snatch.
Favorite thing about EM program: The people. Everyone involved with the emergency medicine program is amazing; from staff, to fellow residents, to program director everyone goes out of their way to be helpful and supportive. The patient population here is also second to none.
