Congenital Heart Disease and Immune Health

Pediatrics Allergy & Immunology Collaborative Research

In collaboration with Dr. Tina Findley, we are investigating immune pathways and allergic and immunologic conditions in children with congenital heart disease (CHD). The project will compare children with cyanotic CHD, noncyanotic CHD, and controls without CHD to examine differences in immune profiles and clinical conditions. Our goal is to better understand the relationship between CHD, oxygenation, and immune health.
