New National Collaborative on Humanities and Ethics in Dentistry Launched

Marking the launch of a National Collaborative on Humanities and Ethics in Dentistry was the February 13 presentation, “Everything Comes Alive with Cherry Pie: Stories of Life at the End of Life,” by Marcia Brennan, PhD. Brennan is the Carolyn and Fred McManis Professor of Humanities and Professor of Religion and Art History at Rice University.

The sponsors of the new collaboration are the Center for Bioethics and Humanities at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics at UTHealth Houston, and University of Rochester Medicine. The next event will be April 29 at 2:00 pm (Central) and will address, “Dentists in Film.”
