To serve our community and contribute to comprehensive healthcare by providing exceptional genetic counseling services through education, empowerment, research and advocacy.

Vision:

To promote informed decision making by ensuring the provision of exceptional and equitable genetic counseling services through 1) innovative, tailored, and multidisciplinary care, 2) education, and 3) research.

Goals:

1. Lead the development of advanced standards of care and accessible models of service delivery
2. Serve the diverse provider, patient, and trainee populations in Houston through clinical and educational outreach
3. Expand research initiatives with a focus in underserved populations
4. Ensure workforce excellence and continued professional development
