Seven year old nurse’s son who perforated his ear drum using a Q Tip. The ear healed with out any treatment.

A young adult who sustained a left ear slap injury. The ear drum has a large bruise ( hematoma) and a perforation.

Six year old male was hit in the ear at school and complained of pain. The photograph shows a small collection of blood in the middle ear space and a small slit perforation in the ear drum. The ear drum was completely healed at the one week follow up visit.
