Dr. Roy Riascos received his medical education from Escuela Colombiana de Medicina, Bogotá, Colombia in 1995 and completed his neuroradiology fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2005. He currently holds the rank of Professor with Tenure of Radiology and Neurosurgery and leads the neuroradiology section of the Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging (DII) as their Section Chief. Prior to joining the McGovern Medical School, he held a faculty position at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. Aside from being a neuroradiologist and educator, he is also making strides as an innovator through his Directorship for the Center of Advanced Imaging Processing (CAIP) at Memorial Hermann Hospital System.
