Dr. Michael Van Meter has been appointed as Program Director of the Emergency Medicine residency program and will assume the role on November 1, 2017. Dr. Van Meter has served as an Assistant Program Director and Clerkship Director for many years.
We are excited to have him take on this new role and look forward to his success in leading one of the largest EM residencies in the country.
Dr. Samuel Luber, who has served as Program Director since joining UTHealth in 2009, will be assuming the role of Vice Chair of Education and Academic Affairs.
