Dr. Mandy Hill

Mandy Hill, DrPH, MPH, Director of Population Health

Houston is a “hot spot” for HIV with more than 20,000 people currently living with HIV in our community. Our Emergency Department settings at Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospitals represent an enormous and unique opportunity to screen, provide education on prevention, and begin treatment for many people who would otherwise go undiagnosed and/or untreated.

Our department is very fortunate to have Dr. Mandy Hill, a leader in this field for the past decade, working to move the needle on this critical initiative in our community. Dr. Hill is not only leading research in diverse areas addressing health disparities among disadvantaged minority populations, but also collaborating on county efforts and statewide UT system programs.

We are excited to name Dr. Hill as our new Emergency Medicine Director of Population Health. In this new role, Dr. Hill will be responsible for helping expand our Population Health Programs and provide mentorship and assistance to all interested in public health.

Congratulations Dr. Hill!
