Biography

Dr. Hilary Fairbrother joined UTHealth Houston in 2017 to continue her career in academic medicine and start her family. She practices both pediatric and adult emergency medicine and serves as the Emergency Department’s first Vice Chair of Faculty Development. Additionally, as Assistant Dean of Pre-Clerkship Education, she leads the first two years of the McGovern Medical School curriculum.

Dr. Fairbrother has a strong interest in curriculum design, active learning pedagogies, and the intersection of healthcare policy and medical education, striving to enhance the training and development of future physicians.
