Presenting Excellence: Misha Granado shares Insights on TRFC at Research Coordinator Forum

Misha N. Granado, MPH, MSWe are delighted to share the exceptional achievements of Misha Granado, MPH, MS, from the Department of Emergency at the Texas Emergency Medicine Research Center (TEMRC).

Recently, Misha had the honor of being a featured presenter at the prestigious UTHealth Houston – McGovern Medical School Research Coordinator Forum. With over a decade of experience in emergency medicine, Misha’s dedication shines through in her role as a Senior Program Manager, where she oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the emergency medicine research portfolio.

Misha’s focus on efficiency and compliance ensures that research initiatives contribute significantly to the advancement of emergency medical care without disrupting clinical operations. Her expertise extends to streamlining processes, facilitating study management, and providing professional development training for study coordinators. With over 20 peer-reviewed manuscripts to her name, Misha’s contributions to diverse areas of public health, including sexual health, breast cancer screening, and women’s health, are truly commendable.

Arun Kane, BSDuring her presentation titled “TEMRC Research Feasibility Committee (TRFC),” Misha provided valuable insights into the committee’s purpose, creation, proposed solutions, workflow, and the benefits it offers. Following her presentation, TEMRC Research Coordinator, Arun Kane provided his perspective on the benefits of the committee such as filling the gaps of natural disconnections between research teams and being able to work so closely with stakeholders, whether it be on smaller or larger projects. This committee has proven to be not only efficient and highly professional, but imperative to future research operations.
