Biography

Dr. Michael Bublewicz, MD, MBA, FACEP, serves as the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care Services for Memorial Hermann Health System. His diverse career spans leadership in emergency medicine, corporate strategy, and military service.

Before his current role, Dr. Bublewicz was a System Medical Director for TeamHealth, a corporate strategy analyst in the tech industry, and an enlisted member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and a Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he concurrently completed an MBA in Health Organization Management. He trained in emergency medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where he also completed a fellowship in Emergency Medicine Quality and Leadership.

Dr. Bublewicz lives in Houston with his wife, a healthcare attorney, and their twin daughters.
