Applications Open for the UTH Space Medicine Fellowship
Our Space Medicine Fellowship is designed for physicians interested in taking emergency medicine beyond the traditional clinical setting and into some of the most unique environments in medicine.
This 2-year fellowship brings together emergency medicine, human spaceflight, advanced simulation, and collaboration across the aerospace community.
Fellows gain hands-on experience across areas including:
- Microgravity
- Diving
- EVA Simulation
- Aerospace Operations / Mission Preparation
- Human Performance & Spaceflight Medicine
- High-Fidelity Simulation & Operational Training
Fellows train in environments designed to challenge traditional approaches to patient care while building the skills needed to support human exploration in extreme and resource-limited settings.
The program also provides opportunities to learn alongside leaders in medicine, engineering, operations, and aerospace as fellows explore the evolving role of physicians in commercial and government spaceflight.
Applications are open through November 1, 2026.
