Dr. Amee Amin is an Internal Medicine board certified hospitalist physician. With 11 years of clinical experience in Acute Care Medicine, Dr. Amin has an interest in Point-of-Care Ultrasound application for Hospitalist bedside rounds as well as management of rapid responses.
Dr. Amin earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed Internal Medicine residency training at Scripps Green Clinic in La Jolla, San Diego.
Dr. Amin has served faculty at UTHealth Houston – McGovern Medical School and assisted in development of POCUS ultrasound for the Internal Medicine residency program and hospitalist faculty division and previously served as President of the Society of Hospital Medicine Houston chapter. She is passionate about quality improvement initiatives and engaging more providers to utilize point of care ultrasound in acute care settings.
