I am Co-Director for the Mobile Simulation Training Unit which we use to train pre-hospital providers. This is an ambulance outfitted to improve the quality of care our amazing pre-hospital providers give our community. It provides an opportunity to engage in high-fidelity, “Practice like you Play” simulation training.

I am also the Director of Simulation for the Department of Emergency Medicine. In this role, I teach medical students, residents, and fellows how to take care of injured/ill critically ill patients using high-fidelity simulation mannequins. This allows trainees a safe environment to learn from mistakes in high stakes situations without causing harm to a real patient.
