Resident Daily Educational Conferences

In a joint effort, program leadership and the Chief Resident(s) develop a schedule for the academic year.

  • Mondays and Wednesdays: Conferences cover adult and general neurology
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: Conferences cover child neurology

The lectures cover a multitude of topics, including preparation for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Board and the annual RITE exams as well as various other topics related to the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of neurological conditions in Child and Adult Neurology.

Journal Club

Each month the Division hosts a Child Neurology Journal Club to discuss various articles. This is a resident-run conference with ideally three to four articles reviewed by the trainees. Faculty, residents, and students participate in the Journal Club by presenting and discussing current clinical, translational, and basic science journal articles relevant to pediatric neurology.
