Dr. Matta’s expertise lies in cross-sectional diagnostic imaging of adult patients’ ultrasound, CT, and MRI, but is also active in radiography and fluoroscopy. He heads the ultrasound section at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and has interests in general, vascular and obstetric ultrasound. Development of clinical applications for 3D/4D ultrasound is a special interest.
Other special interests include cardiac imaging, including CT coronary angiography and cardiac MRI, dynamic and diffusion MRI for oncologic applications and obstetric MRI for maternal and fetal indications.
