HEROES in Houstonia
The Houston Emergency Opioid Engagement System (HEROES) program, directed by James Langabeer, PhD and Tiffany Champagne-Langabeer, PhD work closely with faculty in the Department of Emergency Medicine to help Houstonians with opioid use disorder through engagement in treatment, recovery and follow-up resources to improve rates of long-term recovery.
The HEROES program, its leaders, and participants were recently featured in Houstonia magazine.
