Finding Time to Celebrate During a Busy Season

Because the strongest teams connect beyond the shift

As the year comes to a close, our department is taking a moment to reflect, reconnect, and celebrate the season together. While the ED never slows down, this time of year offers a chance to pause, share a few laughs, and enjoy the strong sense of community that defines our program.

Several of our interns recently gathered with Residency Program Director, Dr. Jessica Wilson for a group photo session that blended professionalism with personality. The result was a collection of images that reflect our culture perfectly: a team that takes its work seriously, but not itself. These moments offer a small, genuine glimpse into the camaraderie and support that keep our residents and faculty going, even on the busiest days.

The holiday spirit continued with a recent Family Feud style event, where faculty and residents went head-to-head in a lively, lighthearted competition. Events like these create space for connection outside of clinical roles and highlight the collaborative energy that makes our department such a special place to train and work.

Wishing You a Joyful Holiday Season

As we wrap up the year, we extend our sincere thanks to our faculty, residents, staff, and learners for their dedication, resilience, and teamwork throughout 2025. It is this shared spirit, both in the clinical environment and beyond, that continues to define our program. We wish everyone a safe, restful, and joyful holiday season and look forward to an exciting year ahead.
