Racing to Share Lifesaving Skills

Members of the Mobile Simulation Training Unit team participated in the UTHealth Houston Half Marathon + 10K Health Fair (external link) and packet pickup on Oct. 23-24, providing hands-on CPR education to race participants and community members ahead of race day.

Taking CPR Training Beyond the Classroom

As attendees picked up their race bibs and packets and explored health and wellness vendors, the team demonstrated CPR techniques and shared practical skills that can make a critical difference during a cardiac emergency.

The event offered an opportunity to connect with the community outside the clinical setting and help participants feel more prepared to respond when every second counts.
