IMS-IRS Joint Meeting 2026

As current President of the International Meningioma Society (IMS), I have the privilege of organizing a unique joint meeting of the IMS and the International Rhoton Society (IRS) in Houston, Texas, 18-22 November, 2026. MARK YOUR CALENDAR! This meeting will be the 14th IMS Congress and 5th IRS Congress.

In the tradition of both of these great meetings, topics will include all there is to discuss about meningiomas, both cranial and spinal, from state-of-the-art molecular genetics, to surgical approaches and outcomes, as well as comprehensive lectures on the entire field of neuroanatomy, including 3D presentations and applied surgical neuroanatomy to the entire field of neurosurgery. We will take advantage of the coming together of meningioma surgeons and disciples of surgical neuroanatomy to create integrated sessions.

The Congress will feature hands-on courses on November 18, and full day scientific sessions (plenary and parallel) on November 19, 20, and 21, featuring invited lectures, special speakers, debate panels, and oral and electronic abstracts. We will have exciting daytime activities for spouses and unique social events each evening, taking full advantage of the exciting venues that Houston offers.

Stay tuned for forthcoming information regarding Congress venue, registration details, hotel information, and call for abstracts.

If you are interested in being an invited faculty, complete the Speaker Survey Form (Coming soon) and provide up to 3 topics you wish to present for the Scientific Program Committee to consider. If you simply plan on attending without presenting, let us also know by filling out the brief Attendance Form (Coming soon) and we will keep you updated as preparations progress. This will help us accurately plan the number of hotel rooms needed.

Do not miss this great event! See you in Houston!

Best,
