Phenylketonuria (PKU) Clinic

NORD Center of Excellence badge

Founded in 2023, the Phenylketonuria (PKU) Clinic aims to provide the highest quality of cutting-edge medical care to individuals affected by PKU; to perform clinical research on PKU; and to educate medical professionals and the public about this condition. The PKU Clinic is part of the NORD Center of Excellence program. Patients with a diagnosis of PKU are welcome to schedule an appointment with our trained specialists.

Our goal is to improve quality of life for families and individuals with PKU. Our team takes a comprehensive approach for management and follow-up of both children and adults with PKU to develop a treatment plan that is individualized to each patient.

The PKU Clinic has a large clinical research focus, complete with multiple research coordinators to handle individual patient care. We are actively participating in multiple clinical trials for PKU.

Camp Phever group photoOur clinic is a founding institution of Camp PHEver, a summer camp for children with PKU and their siblings that occurs each July.
