UTHealth Houston Ultrasound Service Core

The Center for Advanced Ultrasound Imaging, Translational Research, and Innovations drives cutting-edge preclinical and clinical research and engineering in medical ultrasound. It develops diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, aiming to transition them to clinical studies and commercialization. The Center fosters collaboration across various programs, including abdominal imaging, neuroimaging, neuroscience, bioinformatics, and computational medicine.

UTHealth Houston 7T MRI Core

The 7T Preclinical MRI Core Facility at UTHealth Houston offers advanced imaging capabilities with a Bruker PET-MRI system, supporting a wide range of MR techniques, multi-nuclear spectroscopy, and high-resolution PET for small animals. Equipped with physiological monitoring and a surgical suite, the facility provides imaging services for research in stroke, oncology, cardiology, brain and spinal injuries, musculoskeletal and liver diseases. Our expert team assists with protocol optimization, quantitative image analysis, animal protocols, and grant preparation to meet diverse research needs.
