EM’s Dr. Salil Bhandari Inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society!

A huge congratulations is in order for EM’s Salil Bhandari, MD! We are thrilled to announce that on March 5th, 2024, Dr. Bhandari was chosen as one of only seven individuals across the entire UTHealth Houston system for induction into the prestigious Delta Chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society.

Dr. Bhandari’s induction marks a remarkable achievement, highlighting his dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence in the field of medicine. His selection not only reflects his outstanding contributions but also underscores the caliber of professionals within our institution. Furthermore, this places him among an elite group within the Department of Emergency Medicine, where he joins the ranks of distinguished physicians. He becomes one of only four physicians in our department to have received this esteemed honor, following in the footsteps of his colleagues Hilary Fairbrother, MD, MPH, Carolyn Gardiner, MD, and Samuel Prater, MD, CMQ.
