Humanities in Dermatology
This elective offers medical students the opportunity to interact and learn from Humanities and TMC dermatology faculty about dermatologic diseases in a humanities framework. Students spend time engaging with books and film, observing visual art, and discussing the effects of dermatological conditions on patients. The series is a collaboration between McGovern Medical School’s Department of Dermatology and McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics, led by student coordinators.
