Breast Imaging
Welcome to the Breast Imaging section at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Our team is composed of Board Certified, Fellowship-trained Breast Radiologists with vast experience in the interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammograms, screening and diagnostic breast ultrasounds, and breast MRI as well as interventional procedures of the breast such as ultrasound-guided biopsy, stereotactic-guided biopsy, tomosynthesis-guided biopsy, MRI-guided biopsy, needle localization under imaging guidance, ductography, and breast fine-needle aspiration.
Our section provides compassionate and personalized care to patients at Memorial Hermann Hospital, Memorial Hermann outpatient locations in the Medical Center, Upper Kirby, Bayshore, and Lyndon B. Johnson County Hospital. Active multidisciplinary collaboration with Pathology, Surgery, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Patient Navigation assures a complete and reliable approach to the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
As an integral part of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, we are passionate about providing educational training, advanced research, and strive to stay at the forefront of modern technology. State-of-the-art medical equipment with the latest technology and safety is utilized in our facilities to provide optimal care for our patients.
