McGovern Mini Market

The McGovern Mini Market is a student food pantry created to support the health and well-being of McGovern Medical School students by reducing food insecurity and improving access to nutritious resources. The pantry offers a variety of shelf-stable food items and hygiene products at no cost to students.

The Mini Market was established after the Organization of Student Representatives (OSR) and McGovern Student Senate identified food insecurity as a growing concern among medical students and proposed the creation of an on-campus pantry. Their advocacy led to the launch of this student-run initiative, designed to ensure that all McGovern students have access to essential items.

The Mini Market is open to all McGovern Medical School students who may benefit from additional food resources, whether occasionally or on a regular basis. Access is confidential and designed to provide a supportive, stigma-free experience.

To request access to the McGovern Mini Market, please complete the short Eligibility Questionnaire. Once approved, you’ll receive details on how to shop and pantry hours of operation.
