Dr. Yu An Awarded a DDC Pilot Award

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Yu “Aaron” An is the recipient of the 2022 Pilot Award from the Texas Medical Center Digestive Diseases Center.

The Texas Medical Center Digestive Diseases Center (TMC DDC) facilitates cutting-edge digestive diseases research, promotes collaborative research between basic and clinical areas, develops new projects, nurtures new investigators, and provides GI educational activities.  The Pilot Feasibility Award is given annually to support projects related to the theme for the DDC – GI infection and injury.  More information for this award can be found here.

Dr. An’s research is titled “Orm Mitigates Liver Injury Induced Obesity”. He is mentored for this Pilot Award by Dr. Holger Eltzschig and is working with Dr. Kangho Kim, a key collaborator, on this project.
