Congratulations To The Newest Emerging Leaders 2023

The department congratulates Dennis O’Brien, CAA, and Charlie Phung, CAA, who have both completed the Emerging Leaders Institute’s Leadership Program.  The Emerging Leaders Institute is designed for newly promoted faculty or staff leaders or existing leaders (mid-career) who have not yet benefited from personal leadership development. Participants receive a personal leadership assessment and profile, and weekly, intensive group sessions.

This program is offered annually by UT Health and many of the current leaders in our department have gone through these training programs, including the Executive Leadership Program.  Anyone in the department that is interested in applying should request a meeting with the chair or vice chair.  More information can be found here for all of the programs the Leadership Institute offers.
