2025- 2026 Chief Residents

We are thrilled to introduce our newly appointed Chief Residents for the 2025–2026 academic year in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain Medicine at UTHealth Houston.

These exceptional individuals have demonstrated outstanding leadership, clinical excellence, and a deep commitment to education and mentorship. As chief residents, they will play a pivotal role in guiding their peers, supporting faculty initiatives, and enhancing the residency experience for all.

Meet Our New Chief Residents

Mi Sun Kensing, DO

Dr. Kensing will be primarily leading our residency recruitment along with a focus on wellness initiatives targeting the entire department.

Diana Le, MD

Dr. Le has a passion for education and is assisting with continued development of our didactic series.

Connor Kilpatrick, MD
Dr. Kilpatrick is serving as the scheduling chief responsible for coordinating staffing and call schedules for Memorial Hermann residents.

Kylie Peterson, MD
Dr. Peterson has an interest in wellness.  She is also working to streamline transition points within the residency experience to better support our residents as they move throughout residency.
