Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research AGC Matching Gift
Guided by Drs. Aubrey Samost-Williams and Paul Potnuru, The UTHealth Houston Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain Medicine quadrupled last year’s donation. Thirty-seven department members contributed a combined total of $8,529.50! These gifts were matched 1:1 by Ximena and Daniel Sessler, bringing the department’s total contribution to $17,059 for FAER.
Through participation from departments across the country, the competition generated $407,482 for FAER, exceeding the Foundation’s $400,000 target goal. This strong collective effort highlights the specialty’s shared commitment to advancing anesthesiology research and education.
