Welcome, Briana Creeks! Manager Clinical Operations – LBJ
Please join me in welcoming Briana Creeks, to the Department as Manager, Clinical Operations for the department operations at Harris Health – LBJ Hospital. This new role for LBJ completes our organizational structure goal of having a manager-level position supporting the clinical and administrative operations in each of our three main clinical areas – LBJ, MHH, and Chronic Pain/Ambulatory services.
In her role, Briana is responsible for understanding and managing the business operations of the department’s clinical enterprise at LBJ. These operations may include scheduling, revenue cycle, compliance, interface with Harris Health System, administration, and project support for new and/or expanding clinical services and clinical research services. She will collaborate on improving the operational and financial performance of the clinical mission, data analysis and reporting, and contributing to strategy development, business development and marketing. Reporting to Briana are Francis Tan, Senior Administrative Coordinator, and an Administrative Assistant position.
Briana brings 8+ years of experience in clinical and program management, having served most recently as the Senior Business Operations Lead for Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). At BCM, Briana led departmental improvement projects, developed dashboards, and streamlined processes. Prior to Baylor, she held roles at Texas Children’s Hospital, Marians Community Center, and the Elemy ABA Clinic. Briana has a Master in Business Administration from the Texas Southern University Jesse H. Jones School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Texas Southern.
Outside of work, Briana enjoys staying active and connected to the things she loves most. She is currently training for the Chevron Houston Marathon, which means a good portion of her free time is spent running—or thinking about running. She also participates in local road races and enjoys being outdoors whenever she can. When she’s not on the move, Briana loves cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family on the weekends.
