There will be a brief orientation to the simulation equipment and then participants will partake in a series of simulated events during a guided approach of 6–8 hours of instruction. Instruction will begin at 7:30. These events will include significant CRM hemodynamic instability, significant hypoxemia, and other difficult patient care situations. Teamwork and communication will be key during these events. Each TRM participant will be required to take a turn in the “hot seat” as the main decision maker for a minimum of one simulation event during the class. The other participants will fill in as other roles as needed. After each case, there will be time allotted for debriefing. This is the only time that the performance of participants will be discussed. The course is for experiential learning in order to stimulate improvement. There is no grade assigned, nor is there a formal evaluation given.
All courses require 5 participants to be held, and there is a maximum of 6 participants per course.

Course Fee: $1600 per person (includes breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch, and educational materials)

How to Register
Please click here to register. If the course is already full for that day, you will be placed on a waitlist. Participants rarely cancel, so if you are placed onto a waitlist, we would like to suggest that you also register for another date. You will only be charged for the day in which you participate. Please do not make any travel plans until you have received a confirmation email from Ms. Wynisha Owens to ensure the course participants numbers are met. It is unusual for us to cancel a course, but we want to make sure before permanent travel plans are made.
The course depends on a minimum of 3 participants; therefore, if this minimum is not met 1 month prior to the scheduled date, we have the right to cancel the course. All participants will be informed of the cancellation and every effort to reschedule will be attempted. If both parties cannot arrange a mutually acceptable date, the participant will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
There will be no refunds or rescheduling once the specific course date is registered and paid.
